Is it scary?
These rooms were designed to provide a thrilling mystery to solve and a team building experience rather than scare factor. The only room which includes jump scares is our Vampire Slayer room.

How to get to us from Broad St Mall car park?

Location 2: Ram Raid, Age of Magic
There is 2 hours free parking on Curzon street, Valentina road or Audley street between 8am - 8pm. After 8pm we recommend you to park at the Tesco Extra (enter from the Portman road )then from the entrance take the steps cross the park until you end up on Audley street. RG301BS
Am I really locked in a room?
You can leave the room at any time you wish the door you enter into the room it's never locked! Your dedicated game master is monitoring your entire experience so it is perfectly safe.
What is the goal of this activity?
To solve the mystery of the room before the time runs out.
Are there any age restrictions?
Our reccomendation for best experience is 12+.
Teams consisting of any players aged of 14 and Under MUST be accompanied by at least one Adult.

What if I'm late?
Be sure to leave ample time for travel and parking. If the next slot is booked for another team, being late will mean less time for your game.
Can I bring extra people to play?
Yes. However, the maximum limit is 6 players per team still applies. The price difference can be paid upon arrival. Please call as soon as possible if you have extra players.
Is it possible to cancel or reschedule my booking?
No cancellations or refunds are allowed once a session is booked, however you are able to reschedule free of charge 5 days in advance.
Are bookings private or will there be strangers in our game?
All bookings are private so it will just be you and your friends in the game with the room to yourselves.
Someone's dropped out! Can I have a refund?
Escape Reading is a live, ticketed event. Once you've bought your tickets, a refund is not possible.
Can I just pop by and play without a booking?
You are more than welcome to checkout the venue. However, if you intend to play we recommend you to book online or call us in advance to confirm availability.
How many rooms do you have?

How many players can we have per team?
Our escape rooms are designed for teams of 2-6 people. However, for the best experience, we recommend groups of 4 to 5.
How far in advance I can book for?
All game dates are released 4 months in advance and can be booked via the Booking section of our website.
Is it wheel chair accessible?
Currently none of our rooms are suitable for wheelchair access.
