The safety of our customers, and staff, has been our number one priority as we have spent several weeks monitoring Government guidelines and working out if, how and when we can safely open our business.
We are delighted to say we are reopening however, in-line with Government guidelines we will be making some changes to the way we welcome guests, run our games and to our regimes between bookings.
We are confident that the changes will not negatively impact on players’ enjoyment of our escape room – the room and puzzles themselves have not changed. Our changes are outlined below, if you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us!
WHO CAN PLAY?
The Government has stated that, “Close contact activity such as visiting an entertainment centre should only be conducted with a maximum team size of – 6 players.
WHAT PPE IS REQUIRED/PROVIDED?
You and your guests will be required to wear face masks at all times .
Gloves are optional and can be provided. Our staff will be wearing masks and gloves whilst cleaning the games room between bookings.
We will use video briefings. Our staff will remain at a minimum of 2metres away from players at all times.
There are designated areas for players to stand. Players are to arrive 5 minutes before their game – but no earlier.
Our staff will be following a strict cleaning regime between bookings, an early arrival would mean they are likely to still be completing that regime and will therefore be unable to meet you. There is a hand sanitising station immediately inside the building – customers will need to sanitise their hands before and after their game.
The fact customers will be wearing masks, there will be no changes to the game room or how it’s played.
BETWEEN GAMES
Our staff will be disinfecting all props, surfaces, padlocks and door handles inside the escape room between every booking. Every item in the room is wipe-able. We will also be opening all internal doors for a minimum of 45 minutes between all games to assist with ventilation.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Our cancellation policy states that bookings cannot be refunded if cancelling within 48 hours. However, if any team member is displaying any of these symptoms (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/) prior to your visit, we would ask that you contact us to cancel your game and we will able to reschedule your booking free of charge.
